Edge 3i - High Performance Plaster-Up-To Loudspeaker
Compact and discreet, the Edge 3i brings the warm, full-bodied tonality of the Edge series to installations where space is limited or where a cost-effective option is needed. Ideal for smaller rooms, guest spaces, or corridors, its reduced footprint allows it to fit between tighter stud and joist layouts while maintaining the same plaster-up-to integration and seamless finish as larger Edge models.
Powered by Amina’s proprietary exciter technology and supported by Optidrive®, Opti damping®, Reduced Resonance Exciter® and ToneRelief® panel design, the Edge 3i delivers natural, engaging sound with the smooth frequency balance that defines the series. As part of a larger multi-room system, it ensures consistent voicing across all spaces while preserving architectural invisibility.
The Amina Edgei series offers smooth low-frequency extension with increased power handling and sensitivity, resulting in a dynamic and engaging listening experience that has never previously been heard from an invisible loudspeaker.
These high quality speakers are designed for application within drywall construction techniques, Amina Edgei series loudspeakers incorporate a tapered perimeter. Once taped, filled, sanded, and then finished with a thin coat of fine surface-filling compound and then painted, the loudspeaker becomes fully invisible.
The Amina Edgei series can also be installed in the post-plaster situation (retrofit) where there is an existing full skim coat (Amina Edgei series loudspeakers should not be fully plastered over).
Example Applications
Medium-power residential/commercial distributed audio solutions and multi-channel surround sound systems when used with a subwoofer. Designed to be installed into dryline walls & ceilings, but may also be used as a post-plaster retrofit in applications with a plaster skim coat. Can be supplied with high-impedance 100/70V transformer.
